The General Assembly
The General Assembly is composed of all the members of the Association. It has the power to decide, on a proposal by the Board of Administration, on any matter significantly affecting the existence and long-term success of the Association, including the amount of fees and cooperation with other entities or organizations. The General Assembly also appoints the members of the other organs of the Association.
The Scientific Council
The Scientific Council, which consists of up to twenty members, is responsible for organizing all the academic activities of the Association, on which it reports to the General Assembly.
The following serve as members of the Scientific Council for the period 2026-2030: Gilles Cuniberti, Pedro De Miguel Asensio, Konrad Duden, Morten M. Fogt, Agnieszka Frąckowiack-Adamska, Pietro Franzina, Uglješa Grušić, Jeremy Heymann, Costanza Honorati, Thomas Kadner Graziano, Vesna Lazić, Tobias Lutzi, Silvia Marino, Johann Meeusen, Ralf Michaels, Dário Moura Vicente, Konstantinos Rokas, Verónica Ruiz Abu-Nigm, Giesela Rühl and Erik Sinander.

The Board of Administration
The Board of Administration is composed of three to seven ordinary members, appointed by the General Assembly. The Board is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Association and for carrying out all tasks that have not been assigned to another organ.
For the period 2026-2030, the Board of Administration is composed of: Konrad Duden, Agnieszka Frąckowiack-Adamska, Silvia Marino, Konstantinos Rokas, Giesela Rühl and Erik Sinander.

The President and Vice-Presidents
In its relations with third parties, the Association is represented by the President, who also chairs the Board of Administration and the Scientific Council.
The President of EAPIL, for the period 2026-2030, is Agnieszka Frąckowiack-Adamska. The Vice-Presidents are Silvia Marino, Konstantinos Rokas and Erik Sinander.

The Secretary General
The Secretary General is responsible for all administrative tasks of the Association.

The financial affairs of the Association are managed by a Treasures.
