The third bi-annual conference of the European Association of Private International Law (EAPIL) will take place in Geneva, Switzerland, on 18-20 June 2026, under the title Shaping the Future of Private International Law in Europe – Putting Together the Pieces and Filling Gaps.

The conference will present current developments in private international law.

Presentations will then focus on a proposal to consolidate the current European Private International Law regulations in one single instrument (EuPIL Act), on proposals for rules on International Property Law (including the protection of cultural objects) and on the relationship of European private international law with third States. The program is available on the conference’s website (see here).

Registration is now open. You are welcome to register under this link.

We look forward to seeing you in Geneva!
