Here We Go Again: Beware of Scammers!
On various occasions in the past we have warned the readers of this blog of fraudulent e-mails sent to EAPIL members by persons impersonating Gilles Cuniberti, the President of the Association.
As customary with this kind of scams, the scammers ask for money, and insist to have it urgently.
Just don’t let them fool you. The President of the European Association of Private International Law and the Association’s officials never ask for money to members or potential members, individually.
The only way by which we raise money is by collecting fees, once per year, through official channels (our own website and PayPal extension), in accordance with our statutes
So, please, pay attention.
